The frogs in Olema Marsh are croaking like crazy. All night long the males do their work to attract the females. It must work, as they return every year to do it again.

Using them as an example of returning to do their work, I can not pay much mind to my discouragement, though the vote in the Senate sickens me. It makes my heart heavy, today on Valentine’s Day. However, there is work to be done: phone calls to make, postcards to mail, and money to donate.

And there is love in the world, lots of it, so let’s keep on spreading it.
