The garden is kind of a mess, with holes where the snapdragons had to come out. They had rust, a fungal disease. They’ve produced for two years, so I’m not complaining.  Nevertheless, the flower beds continue to provide for wonderful combinations. This one has the first of the red dahlias, and you’ll see the poppy seed heads a lot in the coming days. I meant to use a cluster of red currants at the center, but got swept away by the leek flowers, so will get back to the currants soon.

I took down the show at the Pt. Reyes Library yesterday. It moves to the Stinson Beach Library tomorrow afternoon. Grateful for the opportunity to continue to share the prints with people.

Dahlia, alstroemeria petals, leek flowers, currants, poppy seed heads, larkspur flowers
