This botanical mandala was created on Boxing Day, December 26, 2020. Boxing Day is traditionally the maid’s day off. My friend Aggie says she makes it her day off. Wikipedia talks about its’ history here.

Petunias, horsetail fern, clay beads, boxwood leaves, madrone bark

This is the last of the wonderful starry night petunias. They’re in a put, up against the house and have survived better than most other annuals in the garden. They’re smaller now, and would likely wilt in a day or two, so I’m enjoying their last appearance. Here you can find another use of them in a mandala.
