Here’s a Douglas fir cone. I’m sure there are things I could do to make it more three dimensional, but there comes a point when more fiddling with it doesn’t improve things. Will show it to our teacher when we start up again in March. For now, I’ve learned a lot, and enjoyed the process.

    You sure have jump started into some wonderful work! That’s devotion to detail that takes a patience most people don’t have. Wouldn’t it be great if you’ve discovered something that you’ll grow with for a long time?
