What’s your favorite mandala ingredient? This time of year I’d have to say, hands down, it’s Alstroemeria, aka Peruvian Lily. It’s got 3 types of petals, and can also be used whole. In looking through the postings for them, I found that I didn’t start using them til mid-August last year, and they bloomed through October. Here it is the end of May, and they’ve already started. I must not have discovered their use for mandalas til later in the season before. This year I’ve been watching them impatiently, and here they are.
